STABLEYARD MAINTENANCE
The following project shows work undertaken at a stables near Holmfirth.
Rear of stable block fitted with hard standing and automatic water feeder, this area is fitted with left hand side galvanized field gate for access to ménage, right hand side gate for access to storage area and centre galvanized gate for access to rear paddock.
Newly constructed raised ménage, this area was fitted with full water drainage system during construction; the top surface area was overlaid with weed control membrane and covered with river sand and then rubber pellets.
This area was recently reclaimed by power harrowing heavy rolling and re seeding to create front grazing area; the periphery is fitted with three rail fencing and timber slide rail access point from the stable block.
The paddock is fitted with automatic water feeders and hay net stand of points, the area is also fitted with electric tape around the periphery and temporary taped area to protect newly planted trees.
Twin stable block with adjoining tack room to the left hand side and front hard standing court yard fitted water supply and drainage system for cleaning and grooming.
This area is fitted with a front five bar timber access gate side and timber field gate for access to raised ménage.
Closer look at the three railed ménage periphery fitted large board at the base which assists in the retention of the top surface.
