What a transformation!
Ever since we moved in four years ago we were unhappy with the garden, but like a lot of things it went on the back burner.
We had been searching for someone who would be able to undertake all aspects of the work – in particular maintaining the wildlife of the existing pond. Bob’s knowledge and his professional and practical approach impressed us immediately and we knew he was the man for the job! What was once an unusable and impractical space is now a joy to behold where we can sit out and enjoy both the view of the garden and also the view of the surrounding countryside from our elevated decking.
The difference with RJW Creations is that care is taken for what is in the garden as well as what it looks like. At the start of the project we were quite adamant that we wanted to move but still keep the pond and the majority of the life that was in it. This has been achieved, with the transfer of water and life-stock being carried out with knowledge and sensitivity. In addition we now have an environment that will attract other visitors to the garden such as hedgehogs and bird-life – not to mention lots of friends to help us enjoy our new outdoor space with a glass or two of wine!
We would happily recommend RJW to anyone wanting to give their garden a face-lift. Bob has a professional, friendly manner and is amenable to making changes that arise during the creation – whilst keeping a grip on practicalities – to ensure that the customer is happy with the end result.

We contacted Bob about our patio, previously we had had flags but over the years they had become very uneven .Our grandchildren have had many a fall but now is the time we have to solve this problem.
Bob came up with putting decking on top of the flags what a wonderful idea, he was very helpful in giving us lots of different ideas .
The job was done to a very high standard; we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his work.
Now our grandchildren will be able to play out safely now , thanks to Bobs hard work.

There had always been a problem area at the bottom of my garden and I had made several attempts at reworking the area but it never looked right.
My problem was that it was too long by narrow to effectively do anything with it and we tended to use it as a dumping ground for all the garden waste we accumulated over the growing season, (out of sight, out of mind).
The area had a dry stone wall at the back which if removed would create a lot more space, and we thought an area of decking was going to be the best way of utilizing the space.
I contacted Bob at RJW Creations, on the recommendation of friends, who said he did a good, professional job. Bob came and did a survey and came up with some great ideas for the decking space after I told him what our requirements were.
We needed the decking building around a Cherry tree and a Camellia shrub, the decking needed to be level with the existing raised flower bed to allow access from the decking and also to be flush with the shed supporting area, with a small step down to the existing patio area, a walkway access to next door was also required as part of the construction.
Bob met all our criteria and added some of his own cosmetic touches to finish off what is, in my opinion a great addition to the garden, it all blends in seamlessly and both my wife and I are very pleased with the results.

When my husband and I moved into our new property in Sept 05, the garden which had been left for 2years was immensely overgrown with out of control conifer and laurel hedges and there was also a large boggy area behind the that was so wet and uninhabitable that the only plant that would grow there was bull rushes.
I was not an avid gardener (and am still not by any means) and therefore had no idea where to start with the garden in its present state. I asked Bob to come and discuss possibilities and ideas on how to get the garden I had always dreamed of. Bob came around and I was extremely pleased with his consultation. He spent well over an hour asking questions about what I wanted from my garden but he was also a font of knowledge on other ideas I’d not even thought about. He seemed to know exactly what my style is and explained all the different materials that could mirror said style.
I am pleased to say that when the quote arrived I was pleasantly surprised (as the garden was so unloved and overgrown) of the cost and also the time frame in which Bob could get started. When the work commenced Bob kept me abreast of everyday of what he was doing and the next steps. Any rubbish that accumulated was sorted out by Bob, so I didn’t have anything to worry about.
I am immensely pleased with my new garden an I am looking forward to seeing it grow and evolve over the years. As Bob promised I have finally got the oasis of tranquillity I always dreamed of. I would highly recommend Bob and the work he does, he is a professional and perfectionist in every way.
